Fileit (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a Chartered Accountant-led tax and corporate advisory firm based in Islamabad, Pakistan. This policy explains what information we collect from clients and website visitors, why we collect it, how it is stored, and how it is protected. Because our work involves preparing and filing tax and corporate documents on your behalf, we handle sensitive personal and financial information, and we take that responsibility seriously.

What we collect

When you engage us for a service, we may collect: your CNIC copy, contact details (phone number, email, address), NTN and FBR IRIS login details where you choose to share them for filing purposes, bank statements and bank certificates, salary certificates or business income records, financial statements, and any other documents required for the specific service you have asked us to perform (for example, SECP incorporation documents, property sale and purchase deeds for capital gains filings, or company financial records for corporate filings).

When you simply browse our website or use our tax calculators, we do not collect or store the numbers you enter into the calculators. Those calculations run in your browser and are never sent to our servers.

How we use it

We use the information you provide solely to deliver the service you have engaged us for: preparing and filing your income tax return, registering your NTN, registering for sales tax, incorporating your company with SECP, filing corporate compliance documents, or registering intellectual property. We do not use your documents or data for any purpose beyond the engagement you have agreed to, and we do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party.

Who we share it with

We share your information only where it is necessary to complete the service you have asked for, principally with FBR (through the IRIS portal), SECP, provincial revenue authorities (PRA, SRB, KPRA, BRA), or IPO Pakistan, as required to file or register on your behalf. We do not share your data with marketing companies or unrelated third parties.

How we store and protect it

Client documents are stored in access-controlled systems, and only the team members working on your engagement have access to your files. Physical copies, where taken, are kept securely and disposed of appropriately once no longer needed. We retain client records for as long as required under applicable tax and corporate law record-keeping requirements, and delete or archive records beyond that period.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what information we hold about you, request a copy of your documents, or ask us to delete information we no longer need to retain for legal or regulatory reasons. To make a request, contact us using the details below.
